Alingsås Municipality is now seeking employees who have a great technical interest and can solve problems in First-Line both in helpdesk and out in the field with users. The position is a consulting assignment with a duration from 2026-04-01 to 2027-03-31.

The scope is full-time, 40 hours/week.

About the position

The work primarily consists of helpdesk tasks, which means supporting our users with their orders, questions, and IT equipment and system issues via phone, in-person visits, or through our ticketing system. Installations, on-site troubleshooting, and deliveries of IT equipment may occur in the assignment.

The following are examples of the areas we cover within IT service:

• Helpdesk work in first-line
• PC, Windows 10
• PC, Windows 11
• Mac, OS X
• Chromebook
• Android phones
• iPhone, iPad
• Printers
• Copiers
• Projectors
• Ticketing systems
• MDM systems
• Directory services, eDirectory, and AD
• Outlook, user support
• Patch network outlets
• SCCM and MDT

Who are you?

We are looking for someone with a strong technical interest who enjoys solving problems – both independently and collaboratively with colleagues. You are service-oriented, structured, and have a positive attitude towards user support in a close-to-business environment.

We expect you to:

• Have basic IT education or equivalent work experience
• Have experience in IT support, preferably first-line helpdesk
• Be accustomed to working systematically in ticketing systems
• Have good social skills and communicate clearly
• Speak and write fluent Swedish
• Have a B driver's license
• Be organized, responsible, and driven
• Be able to work independently
• Not have a criminal record
